  • Morning All,

I'd like to give this a go - I started flinging stuff out last month so some rooms are ready for routines. I found flylady by accident just after she'd set up her website and it sounded great and it's only taken about 7 years to get here :rotfl: I bought the duster and the books but drew the line at the t-shirt :D. I've managed to avoid housework for almost 2 years due to health hiccup but now have motivation to get it sorted once and for all - thought I'd dive in quick before the feeling went away again :rotfl:

There are four of us - all of an age to share the load so I just need to point our happy ship in the right direction :D
Look forward to meeting you all x

pigpen puts the monday to friday list on post 1 each night in advance and we aim to get it completed, but start small and dont beat yourself up if you cant do it all as it takes time to get messy and time to get clean. 4 - 6 weeks seems to be the timeframe when it gets much easier as lots of the deep cleaning is done in the first few weeks and after that its just maintenance.

Hi all, I'm in again, apologies for dropping off a bit, had a very bad stomach upset last night and it knocked me for six really...just about feeling normal (ha) again.

    Anyway done

    DW

    WM

    TD

Filled a binbag...I am in awe of how much rubbish we generate.

Cleaned some bigger pots by hand.

Sorted a space on some worksurface.

    That's it I think.
    See you all soon. x

Hello everyone, I have been gone far too long! Not even going to try and catch up or I'll be even further behind :D

I can't sleep at night as this baby thinks it's fun to jump about all night long, I'm surviving on 2hrs max sleep each night and an hour nap in the afternoon if I'm lucky. I've put it to good use though and our flat is actually looking ok!

DD is at preschool for 3hrs every morning now so I have lots of time for housework :j:rotfl: Plus she is too tired to make a mess when she gets home!

At 29 weeks pregnant my pelvis is starting to play up so I'm aiming to get everything as easy to maintain as possible, just incase I end up on bedrest or in a wheelchair again (our flat is about as wheelchair-unfriendly as you can get) DH is being really helpful and wont let me do too much but I'm eager to get things organised in case he ends up having to do everything :(

Must go and iron DS uniform now and try and get some sleep, but I'll be back for some HHCs tomorrow!

  • Jenagain, teach hubby how to log onto here and point him in the flylady direction and we could organise him for you :D

take it easy though, if your hurting STOP and rest, if your not sleeping then make the most of your DD being out at pre-school and use that time to put your feet up, as you know when bubs makes his/her apperance that you are going to have even more to do and nowhere near enough time to do it.

Im going to head to bed and will be up at a reasonable time tomorrow morning otherwise the insomnia will continue
  • GRRR!! DH is snoring fit to bust! Cuppa & hopefully he will have shut up by the time i've finished it!
