Its not old style, but the Rug Doctor ''urine eliminator spray'' has been the only thing between be an sanity this winter...we have a feral living in the house...and she's been very hard to house train (e.g. yesterday...no mistakes for over a week then three yesterday:mad:) . The vet shops also have a very good spray for urine/poop but it is more expensive.
I now keep some rug doctor shampoo to use by hand, and the urine spray. sometimes its worth using something that will work, and this does for us.0 -
Morning flyers,
I am going to try to manage level 1 this week - that'll be a first. I really need to do this. I would love to feel like furball on page 1

Silvermaid, as toots says don't try and do everything at once. The trick is to just to keep tidy what you have already done, that way each week you get a bit further and can really see a difference. As regards my washing mountain i don't iron i just take them out of the TD as soon as they are done and fold them or hang them up straight away. I only iron as i need it as the wardrobes are shared so even if i did iron before i put them away the clothes would need ironing again when i got them out of the wardrobe. I used to spend so much time thinking of what needed doing and how i would do it but thinking of the house as a whole seemed too much. Now if a job needs doing i don't think about it i just get of my bum and do it, takes less time doing it, usually, than i used to spend thinking aboout it. The other thing i have found is i tend to do jobs properly, instead of just tidying a cupboard i now throw out the junk and wipe out, even if thats the only extra job for the day i know that i won't have stuff falling out of that cupboard everytime i open in and i can find things easier. Oh and try and do the dailies even if you don't do anything else. Tidying and vacuuming makes each room a pleasure to walk into and keeps the motivation, (even if you don't get time to dust daily). Good luck, you will get there.
Not sure how much flying i will get done as DD3 still ill and DGC coming, no point keeping them away as their dad has flu as well.

If you were out earlier in the day, maybe you have had a power cut and not known about it ?
Anyway to check with neighbours or check the microwave clock, mine resets to 0 when we trip our 'leccy.
No power cut, our cooker clock flashes if we have had one. Thanks though:A
New fridge/freezer ordered. High temp light has been on all night, freezer turned up as high as it goes and fast freeze on and making no difference:( New one coming tomorrow.
Hubby wanted an american style one so that is what we have. He is in charge of taking the doors off to get it in!

Morning all,
Lost it a bit towards the end of last week. Major January blues I think. My internet is being intermittent (and I fear will go altogether soon as we're late paying the bill :O ) and although I tidied each room they're far from perfect. Back on the bandwagon today, I will stick at it for the week

Good morning all
DH dropped off at station. Had a mad race round with the dogggies in the lounge in an attempt to wear them out a bit. (I'm not to walk them - they've been trained to pull for competition and although usually I'd take one at a time, I dont fancy going bum over boob. I think I'd get shot :rotfl:)
Chooks are out and fed, very indignant that I didnt stop the rain for them
Thread caught up with - wow you lot are a bunch of night owls - hope you're not too tired today
