Good evening
Had a busy but good weekend. Miss A and her friends had a great climbing wall party, I took loads of pics which I need to put on the pc but am going to hold fire on that until I get the router sorted for use with the new laptop. Until that is done I can only get online with it at Mum and Dad's (unless I try and tap a network round here!)
We are in again this week, I need to make some serious headway during the days as most evenings are taken up with activities for the SW's.Dustykitten wrote: »There are some of us who do very little flying when the sun is out :j if you are enjoying the garden you don't see the dust inside
And there are some of us who do very little flying full stop, either inside or outsidesee above!

Looking forward to the new week.
This is my 3rd week, and so far I have only dabbled, but definately doing more flying than before.
Aiming to complete Level 1 this week. Dailies are all a bit hit and miss, but I feel better just for having someone [STRIKE]telling me[/STRIKE] suggesting what to do.

(A maiden is North West speak for clothes airer BTW but Dusty uses the word, too and I'm from up there originally)
I call mine a "dolly".... not quite sure why.... certainly everyone I've ever said it to looked sideways at me, so it's probably a family thing! as in "can you load the dolly up or rack the dolly up......":rotfl:
Just taken a look at our concreted back yard (with planters/pots/shrubs etc planted by me in vain hope... well except for the two magnolias that are doing strangely well in pots and several roses that are climbing their way out of containers) I have to get this sorted. It's depressing me. I need a scented, colourful, green, glowing garden to walk into and work in.
It's all grey buildings surrounding us (the former woolworths) out the front and red brick and loading bays out the back. But there is ground (mingin' fairly light-less ground because of the loading bays) but it has potential. I just need to be able to remove concrete (put down by MIL years ago) and have a plan so that everyone can get to the various outbuildings/garages without it being inconvenient. However, as ever there is heaps of clutter there, so will add it to my flylady list to sort the clutter out first then one step at a time until it's done.
I know I have my borrowed walled garden to go to, but I like getting up in the morning and having brekkie outside in the garden. Somehow I have to make it work.Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
I'd like to take part again this week. I have been pretty poorly these last few days so my house has turned into a household waste disposal depot... aka a tip!
Glad it's kitchen as needs a good clean but going to do living room too as busy end of the week and my upstairs suffered at the end of last week.weight loss so far: 6lbs
clothes neutral in £2011: fund.. £13.23
virtual sealed pot member # 99: £5.030 -

MIL concreted over anything green years ago, but there's nae need. There could be thriving plants/plots there. I know I have my borrowed walled garden to go to, but I like getting up in the morning and having brekkie outside in the garden. Somehow I have to make it work and make a flylady-garden-de-cluttering-beautifying list. They helped me lots with mine last year. Think courtyard garden... I found it useful to have some A2 paper and tracing paper to draw up plans on and work out the hard landscaping. Admittedly it isn't finished yet, but that's partly due to work last year. I should be able to get it all planted up with what I've got this year so that it's looking good ready to sell the house in the spring.
I'm going to TRY to fly this week. And to do my tax return. Kitchen definitely needs doing tomorrow as its rather sticky after the cake making/decorating yesterday. However, it did at least use up some stuff, so I guess it helps with the decluttering!0
