    today I am GRUMPY. Evily horribly Grumpy.
    Watch out DH. Watch out doglets. Clothes. Dust. ARRRGGGHHHH Grumpy grumpy grumpy.

    Ahhh well. DH is lovely and been helping

    Tuesday ~ Hall, Stairs and Landing!
    Level One
    [STRIKE]
    Declutter the floors and vacuum them.[/STRIKE] Even took that old bathroom cabinet out to wait for the bin man
    [STRIKE]Tidy everything you can see when the front door is open! [/STRIKE] Done
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Dust and deweb.. don't forget lightbulbs and shades![/STRIKE] Porch done. stairs... done what I can reach :rotfl:
    Scrub front door.. inside and out! MUST DO THIS. I have a sticky patch out side.
    [STRIKE]Wash any curtains/draught excluders and doormats![/STRIKE] None
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Empty and declutter the cupboard under the stairs.. you do not need the junk that has been in there for a million years![/STRIKE] Havent got one - Result!
    [STRIKE]Empty Vacuum cleaner, wash filters and clean brushes once you have finished vaccing.. leave to fully dry before rebuilding machine![/STRIKE] Emptied after every vacume. Them puppies fill it up easy! Not gonna do the filter as it's got a couple of months before it needs doing. and it takes like 3 days to dry :(

    1. Wash windows and nets/blinds
    2. [STRIKE]Wipe and water and furry plants[/STRIKE] No plants - furry or otherwise (And they would be really dog furry in our house)
    3. Wipe paintwork and door knobs

    Hmmmmm thats not actually too bad.

    I've sorted the laundry
    DH stripped and remade the bed.
    Gotta be time for tea?? And then maybe a nap and I'll wake up a nicer person.

  • Well in my HHC I did the ironing I was going to do later, emptied and re-loaded dw, put stuff from wm into td, and made dinner (was doing all that for about 50 mins, actually :o) How did you do toochoosey?

  • Good evening :beer: Not had a chance to read (apart from Dusty - that will be a difficult day for you all, so be kind to yourself :A ).

    I'm on a training course tomorrow, and then need to get the house ready for DH's family visiting (for a family funeral not far from ours).

    Hugs, sticks and spoons all round. Going to find a list and see what I can cross off :)

  • I am really enjoying this thread and the challenges, its really given me to motivation and the kick I have needed! I am not however looking forward to sorting out the lounge and the bathroom...those 2 rooms are a nightmare!!
