We don't! Or the truer answer is probably an awful lot of skimming goes on. No one expects you to keep up and neither will anyone think you rude if you post and run. Some people use catching up as a treat for when they have done a job on the list they don't like the look of. Me, I'm just lazy :rotfl:
I've spent houors today setting up my new laptop and trying to sort out Miss A's pc, but I have done some flying inbetween times so all is not lost.
Thanks for that! Hope you got the PCs sorted - I've been trying to sort mine out tonight too - needs connecting to printer.

I have the wrist supports but I hate wearing them unless in lots of pain.. they smell and I really really hate the texture of them.. yes I am 'that' odd.:o:o:o

If truth be known.. I ran out diclofenac weeks ago and can't take ibuprofen as it interferes with my digestion shall we sayand paracetamol/codeine doesn't touch it.
Pigpen - does that say 'Other Half hurt your wrist' or it is just 'Oh - hurt my wrist'!!!??? Im sure it wasnt the first.....lol - it just looked a bit odd when I read it! :rotfl:
No, it is the first.. he laid on my hand and wrist getting into bed in almost total darkness and without his glasses so he could see about as much a a mole with a bag on its head.. Had it been intentional he would be dead.. stone cold dead... He is a clumsy womble so any injury caused by him is purely accidental.. unless I say otherwise.. look on the bright side.. it wasn't him dropped the loft hatch on my collar bone which I still swear was broken. Besides my left wrist especially is highly tempramental so sometimes is ok and others goes off at nothing.
I shall remember to note 'unintentional' in future.. apologies:o

I skim read.. plus I am logged in all day as I don't often turn lappy off and I hit refresh when sat feeding the baby so it is easy enough to browse posts then.. and stops me fidgetting while she eats..
Don't try to keep up.. especially at the moment with so many new faces after the new year it is very hard we average half as many posts again each week, which considering we usually have about 800 isn't no mean feat.. keep posting, keep battling on with the lists and know that your posts are being read and you are important and valued here!
Greenbee... You know where you need to go and how you need to process these emotions and what you have to do.. you know where we all are if you need an ear, an escape or merely to offload.. big hugs and a big tub of the besest ice cream in the world.. Look after yourself.. but we will come after you if you aren't here letting us know you are ok..
Ms Jelly.. I hope Papa Jelly is continuing to improve and is even grumpier than before.. it is a good sign I'm sure.. Sending strength vibes to your mum, I hope she can get some rest she'll need all her energy and some of yours when she gets him home!

My first day of flying. So please i found this thread. I didn't have a clue where to make a start with my cleaning and decluttering so this might be a live saver. I need the guidance and advice of more experienced fliers. It felt great making a start and it reminded me of how my grandmother used to do things. She had certain tasks each day and it worked wonderfully for her. Her home was always clean and tidy. Well, I'm not expecting miracles overnight and no doubt I will not be perfect but anything would be better that the way things have been lately. I would like to get to the point where I welcomed people who came to the door of my house rather than dread it and pretend that I'm not in. It would be lovely to be able to invite people round for a meal. But baby steps, I won't try to run before I can walk.
