Are there any free intelligent route planning programs available?

you're unlikely to get much traffic unless you can plan a route between a and b, without adding c and d.
Insisting on a minimum of 3 waypoints is an unusual and unnecessary choice of design!!

Hi,
One of the best route planners with optimization algorithm I have ever seen is done by antei-computers.
Unfortunately is not free, but suits our ERP system perfectly.
Cheers,

Yes, Badger Maps is what I use for this type of routing and planning. Its good for people who travel around and have multiple stops (I use this for my job in sales). I use it on my iphone and its super helpful.0

I would like to have continued to use Microsoft AutoRoute but for some strange and unexplained reason Microsoft have said, "stuff the user and dumped it so I'm looking for an alternative. I would prefer a free system but am prepared to pay if needed.
I want to set off exploring again with my camper and the initial trip is the South Coast. My needs are simple in that I know I can use a Post Code with a GPS to find a target site but I want to plan my route on a computer with an application that will allow me to mimic AutoRoute. In other words, input a Post Code that will show up on a map and can later be used to create a route if required. Does anyone know of such an application?0 -

Many thanks for http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/ which at first glance looked good but kept freezing. There were a few other problems so I will give it a miss.0
