e2save - Safe enough aslong as you're careful?
Right, I've done alot of research regarding this company and dialaphone. I was originally going to take up a deal with dial a phone but they removed it so I'm interested in an even better deal with e2save.
Right, anyone had any problems with claiming cashback? The reviews are horrific but then again, there's some positive ones out there! I plan to send all bills out via recorded delivery and on time as I'm not one not to take cashback for a joke, the deal is quite expensive for me without cashback!
Also, does anyone know whether Quidco works with cashback redemption deals?
Thanks,
Jagg

I've never had a problem claiming cashback with e2save. I always post recorded delivery and they send me a text to let me know that my claim has been successful each time.0

E2save are my favourite at the moment, pay up really fast and very simple now regarding the T&C's.
Read up on Quidco's issues with delayed/declined payments and maybe consider another cashback site like Topcashback etc. Sadly lots of Quidco issues at the moment that they don't/won't/can't sort.
No problems at all though with E2save, in fact I would highly recommend them at the moment - things can change though and they have had bad press in the past.
Good luck and there is plenty help on this site if you ever need it.

Just got my cashback cheque from them today, however whilst I sent the letters recorded delivery they never arrived at E2Save ansd so I had to contact them, but once I gave them the Royal Mail ref no they accepted my claim straight way.
It does seem a bit of hassle to me remembering to send letters with the correct invoices, chasing them up to make sure they arrive, then waiting for the cheque to arrive. Plus I've got to do it 4 times!
As far as cashbacks go E2Save haven't let me down yet but I do wonder if the hassle is worth it and a straight discount deal would be alot easier in the future!!0 -
It's worth the hassle Topper and I actually like "playing the game".
It's really too simple now, especially since one missing claim doesn't invalidate the rest (60 days to claim as well).

My hubby and I have both had phones through E2save twice now and i've never had a problem getting the cash back, and now that they dont want a little slip attached to your invoice with your details its even easier. I send the bill recorded delivery as soon as it arrives and I (or hubby) get a text to say its arrived and my cheque will be with me in 30 days (which it always is
)
I havent used quidco, I used topcashback and they tracked the money fine for me.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -

Hey guys, thanks for the replies so far. So what exactly do I send off, is it just the 6th monthly bill, then the 9th, 12, 18th on a 24 month contract?
Should I send a copy or the original?
I'm living at University and my bills will be sent home however, for the 6th, I will be at home anyway due to summer holidays however the following ones excluding the 18th bill will be during Uni. So I'll be going back home and sending it, getting my mum to do it or getting them to post it to me and then doing it myself from my Uni halls.
Also this is the deal I'm interested in:
Ah damn, can't post link! It;s the blackberry bold 9780 (Orange contract - 17.39 p/m). What's the difference between 15 months 1/2 price by redemption with that network and the 6 months FREE redemption with O2?0 -
You get more mins with o2 (500 mins), hence slightly dearer.
If you took out a 24 months contract in Jan., you would simply just send a bill/copy of a bill (printed from pc) in June, Sept., Dec., 2011 and March and June 2012 to get your cashback.
You do have to pay in full each month and the displayed price p/m is the price which includes cashback. Going via say Topcashback will reduce you monthly cost even further (£46.46 minimum).

How is the company on delivery? As the phone will be delivered to my home address, I'd need to book tickets home on the train (which are expensive if I don't pre-book!) I'd probably order it on a monday and go home for the weekend; do they keep to their next day delivery claim?0

Just to add, Phones4u are slightly cheaper with th o2 deal:
http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_contract_details.asp?ItemKey=423608&MPItemKey=445739&NetKey=11
Slightly less cashback from Topcasback @ £35.35 (min.).
Phones4u are also excellent with casback/retention deals.
