Which broadband?

Im moving into a rented property and i need broadband access. The only catch is that i need one without a contract. So far i have found a few options.

Get a 3 mobile broadband sim for less than £10, it includes a 3gb data which lasts for 90 days. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Three-Mobile-Broadband-Data-Card/dp/B003Z0T3X2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295096798&sr=8-1

Vodafone do a dongle for £15 a month which includes a 3gb limit every month

O2 home broadband. Its £21 a month inc phone line on a 30 day contract but there is a £55 upfront fee

What other options have i got? Im looking around 3gb a month?

thanks

If you want ADSL broadband then you need a landline, this will generally involves a 12m contract for line rental anyway..
Do you already have an active BT line?
All broadband involves a contract, though some 30 day contracts are available. But in this case there will always be upfront fees, as if you are planning to leave in a month, they need to recover their investment.

Yes, accessing a web page, sending an email, downloading or uploading, streaming-it's all data usage and all counts towards your allowance.
The limit is not a downloading limit, it's a data usage limit.

Looks very interesting. Do you happen to use their broadband and if so are you happy with it?

You are still going to have to pay the full line install charge if you don't have one and you go with a 30 days contract provider though...no one will give you a subsidised line only to leave after a month.

I do, I have been with them for over 4 years, first class company, no overseas call centres, real technical help if required on an 0800 free number.

True, however the OP hasn't said if they have an existing line or not.

Which makes it more frustrating when they post an enquiry and then vanish into the ether...
