Seller requested my details after 24 hours and demanded payment...

Shops do not require you to pay immediately and go to the check out as soon as you pick something off the shelve. It is up to the buyer when they do it. Some are also happy to wait 3 days for payment and keep the goods for you.0

And as the shop would give me the item immediately upon payment, you are using an unfair, one-sided example.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

I bought something for a colleague who'd forgotten their account details. So I BINed and then waited while they got back to me with a delivery address.
Also, I knew the card on my PP account had expired and I had to set up a new one.... not really something I wanted to do on the iphone so had to wait until I was at home with the PC.
So shoot me... it was about 2 days between purchase and payment. They sent me the invoice a day after BIN, but I didn't begrudge them that.
It was the weekend though...My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
How do you sleep at night fay?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

I've got no sympathy for the seller - way OTT.
Meanwhile, I think you're petty, and I'm glad you've never bought any items from me.Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0 -

I bought something on BIN yesterday, something that I wanted that was at a decent price.
Seller has in his terms that the buyer can pay in 7 days. That was one of the reasons I chose this seller above some others with a similar item.
I am going to pay on Tuesday when money I have in my account has cleared.
To me, I have "ordered" the item and I am keeping completely within the seller's conditions.
Saying that though, I think nearly every other time I've used BIN, I've paid straight away.0 -

Maybe, it being a few weeks ago, it was over xmas and the seller wanted to get it out so it got to you before xmas? else it gets caught up in the bank holidays and takes ages to arrive, may be negged as THEY WANTED IT BY XMAS.0
