Er, just a couple of things about the CEA card..

You don't have to be 'in care' to get one - that usually means in a residential care placement. You have to get DLA, Attendance Allowance, or be registered blind, and need someone (carer or personal assistant) to help you while at the cinema.

Also, it's the disabled person who pays for a ticket, and the carer or personal assistant who's allowed in free because they are assumed to be there to allow the disabled person to access the cinema, and not for their own benefit.

    Picky, I know, sorry!

I wouldn't say you were picky. It would be helpful if the author would change the subtitle to "CEA card for carers (not "those in care") or else a lot of people will skip over that section thinking it doesn't apply to them. BTW, there is a small charge for the card (from memory I think it's £10).

Empire Cinema offers Empire Junior tickets for £1.50 per child. An adult must accompany the child/ren and their ticket is the same price. There are usually a couple of choices of films screened on Sat & Sun mornings. There is an online booking fee of £0.70 per ticket. Carers go free if in receipt of a valid CEA card.

There are also Empire Senior (60+) tickets costing £3 including a complimentary tea/coffee and biccy before the film on Wednesday mornings (excluding school hols).
  • TICKETS FROM £2.95 at EMPIRE CINEMAS ON SAVERDAY TUESDAY.

My local Vue are giving away £1.50 off vouchers when you get a ticket.
I go on a tuesday night , use my cheap tuesday card and use the voucher as well - the ticket comes to £2.70
They have a 2 week expirey date (If they are stamped...).

Not all Vue cinemas give them out or accept them, so just make sure you go back to the same cinema where you got them from or the cinema you go to might not accept them. I use to work at Vue and we didn't accept them, but another Vue a few miles away did, always had people complaining we didn't accept them - we had cheaper tickets than the other one, so so many people thought they could get even cheaper tickets!

(Only useful if you live near the O2)

Sky customers can get 2 tickets for ANY film (including 3D) for £3 on Mondays

You don't even get charged a booking fee so its a great deal if your local

If you choose 3D take your old glasses as cineworld charge 80p for 3D Specs

Film subscribers also get free popcorn

Unfortunately this only seems to work at the Cineworld @the O2

Silly really - you think sky would have a national deal

Log onto sky wwwDOTskyDOTcom/theO2 and choose movies @the O2 - you can book online or print a voucher (apologies - I cant post a proper link)
  • Limited extra offer if you book online......

"Until 30th of September we are giving away an extra 200 points every time you book online*. "

What’s more, these points are in addition to the standard points you will earn on your tickets.

    check it out here.....

OK, was blocked from adding the link so you'll have to search for it :(

    sorry, tried to be helpful

I've reported the item. Can't have scammers making a tenner off odeon vouchers that are freely available!
