Paypal notice of account limitation - spoof?

I had a notice of account limitation supposedly from paypal, I have forwarded it to them and deleted it. Will they let me know if it was a spoof? Nothing seems wrong with my account.

Yes they will send you a reply.
Usually if the email hasn't your full name and user name on then it's a spoof/phishing email.I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0 -
They always reply, usually quite quickly.
