    Excellent, and well done!

    Great book Adrian!

The competition is a bit of fun for those with the inclination to enter. The prize is, of course an iPad, and that's cool (I know, I have one!).

This thread makes me smile every time I read it because you're all working so hard on something I created without knowing if anyone would ever be bothered to try to solve it. I LOVE that you are. Thankyou and good luck, as ever, to all!!

Your quote above, chocciemonster, made ,my smile almost impossibly wider. Thankyou SO MUCH!!! And good luck to you too.

    Thank. You. ALL!!!

    Hi Guys,

Everyone SHOULD get a confirmation of entry by email. I've spoken with Last Passage this morning and they tell that there is a slight backlog but they will clear that today. Anyone who has entered and not received email confirmation by close of play today, just drop them a line and they'll send confirmation of your entry.

Any other questions, post here and I'll do my best to get them answered or resolved.

    Cheers,

  • I've finished the book! One of the best I've read in a long time (and I read ALOT!). Great read Adrian! It was a trade off between reading the book and solving this but reading the book won out!

I managed to solve part 1 really easily but I must admit that I am struggling with part 2... I think I need my computer to crash, like Jacks! For those who have solved this is part 2 def a picture? Or am I completely barking up the wrong tree? Thanks :)

  • @chocciemonster - All I can say is yes, think picture.

With regard to you comments on the book, that is greatly appreciated and thank you SO much. What I would ask is that if anyone who has read Codex genuinely LIKES it, then a review on the site they bought if from and a general "spreading of the word" would be fantastic. As a debut author signed to an independent publisher we both have our work cut out standing out from the crowd (hence the competition, for example). Codex is STILL in the iBooks Top 100 nine months after publication, so that's great, but we really need to keep the word spreading - that way we might be able to offer further competitions for the launch of Sequence (for example) in July.

Thanks again - I'm REALLY glad you enjoyed it!

  • Thanks Adrian! All I needed was confirmation that I wasn't going completely off track :)

Have reviewed it on Amazon and for all those who still want the book I saw this on twitter: Want 50% of the print version of #Codex by Adrian Dawson? Enter CODEX001 at checkout on Amazon.co.uk. :j
