Actually I said that...however it does bring up an interesting point as I think that is another clue.

Update: just emailed them as there seems to be disparity between the online web code and the download text file...apparently there should be no disparity. They are checking this now and will advise accordingly.

The author only said he was going to check in now and then, so may not respond to the question that quickly, but based on his other comments I think it's fair to assume he would not want the solution or clues posting.

Besides, it's really great when you do get the answer yourself!

I'd rather the answer was not given please. I would like the winner of this competition to be one of however many people have worked their socks off for it, as you guys undoubtedly are.

Some points to note, however...

There was a small disparity with the online file, sorted now, but it did not affect anyone's ability to get the answer (as quite a few correct answers had already come in). Anyone unsure, or not wanting to be unnecessarily confused should re-download.

@Aphorism - doing very, very well!
@r1c0l1 - on the right lines
@cistolic - well spotted but it's not as complex as you think - it's more related to @r1c0l1's post.

I hope you're all having fun, but seriously, if you read Codex, it's much, much easier than you think.
