Anyone else having problems with downloading LionBridge Rater Toolbar? I've passed the assessment but the toolbar won't download into Firefox for me. I've emailed them several times and sent screenshots of the problem but havn't had much help. I'm no computer illiterate either and usually know how to solve IT issues but not this - just get constant messages telling me the file is "corrupt" To be honest if everything with them is this much hassle then I'm wondering if doing work for them is worth it..."All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy"

Hi, I've been with this lot a few months and today got an email telling me they'd found some quality issues and were going to do a review of my work..... I can't rate until they have completed my review! Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have never had any other feedback, not even a star rating....is this normal or am I a goner?
Hi. I've had the same message. I've been with them just over 3 months and never had any feedback or ratings either! So it's either something I've been doing completely wrong and if so I've been doing it wrong from the start  or (hopefully!!) just one of the newer tasks that I've messed up and maybe just need some training on.
I have asked them why they don't just pay per task rather than per hour as I do occasionally feel pressured to rush things to get them done within the average times but never had a response!
Just keeping my fingers crossed now although it wouldn't be the end of my world if they did finish me as the money I've earned so far has paid for a bloody good holiday but it would be nice to be able to build up some savings for once in my life!!Savings Target 2015 £10/£3000 :rotfl:0 -

Well...I've been doing some digging and this is seen by some employees as a way of slowing down the workforce, when there's not much work available. Strange that its happened to us both, with no comment and I'm sure we aren't the only ones. I'll leave it a few days and email them. Tell me if you get a response.0 -
I was let go from Lionbridge at the start of March 2012. Has anyone had any experience of going back to them after a 12 month gap? I have tried applying for a couple of other positions throughout the year but my applications were rejected, I presume because I have worked for them previously.0

Hi,
I was in the middle of reading the General Guidelines and doing the Pre Exam Simulator when I received an email saying that due to a technical error I could no longer access the exam. They have apologised and said that I will be re-entered for the exam 'at a later date'. Has anyone else has this problem? Do you know if and when they are likely to be in touch?
Thanks,0 -
They will accept previous workers after a full 12 month period, you will just have to go through normal application procedure.0

That's great news annhan, have you done that yourself? Thanks for the info. I used to work for LB a couple of years ago so I wonder how much it has changed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Thanks,
I'm supposed to be re-taking the exam - I had an email late last night (after I'd had the exam links) to say I'd failed!! I hadn't even opened the links!!
I have also been told about the technical errors and I will be re-entered, so hoping it will be next Thursday!!0 -
Lets hope so Why oh why, it's reassuring to know that there's someone else in the same position!0

Same here
I'm re-taking the test, and on Thursday I received two e-mails containing the link to the 'exam homepage' followed by a mail saying I have failed! (great when you can't access the exam homepage)
I only have this weekend and Monday / Tuesday to do the exam, and can't next weekend as I'm away visiting family.
I haven't received a mail mentioning another time for the re-take though. All you need is love (and chocolate)0
