I've had an email and I've set up my bank details. I contacted my bank, Lloydstsb, and there's no charge for international receipts. Presumably we'll have another email telling us what to do next.

Just started with Lionbridge this week.

Have a question.. lets say I worked for an hour, did 21 tasks and I should have done 43 according to productivity task completion guidelines.

Should I report that I spent 1 hour doing 21 tasks which is correct.

Or do they want me to report that I spent 30 minutes doing the 21 tasks i.e. 50% less time than it took me, since I was 50% slower than productivity task completion guidelines?

If so, have I been misled over the hourly wage?

Always put down the time you spent doing them. I believe in your first 2 weeks or so they are more flexible. You do end up speeding up once you get the hang of it :)

    Hi GemmaC25,

Thanks for that, I will do as you say. I'm keeping a record of the times I've worked, task types and tasks completed. This will be useful for any discrepancy, or if I am asked to adjust the hours.

I did find that I sped up with one of the tasks last night, hopefully I can do the same with the rest. Was just feeling a bit low about it all but a little more positive this evening.

I started a few this afternoon. Only got about 1.5 hrs to put on timesheet but I started at 2pm, how does that work? Hopefully once I get into it properly I will have to do less reading as I am going along.

Congrats to all those that have recently passed.

As a reminder or for those who haven't read through the whole thread, there's a task control program which makes time recording a little easier.

  • Did anyone else get invited to become a Lionbridge Ad Assessor? I got this, this afternoon and it sounds interesting.
