Got to be honest, I do feel sorry for those folks that live close to the breadline but through their circumstances need a car to get about, work etc. It must be nearing the point - if not reached already - of having to choose whether to use the money to eat or use it for fuel to get to work.

Although I'm in the fortunate position of easily being able to afford whatever it costs to fill up, I have started combining 'errands' into 1 trip now instead of just going to a, b and c willy-nilly as I'd rather be spending my disposable income on stuff other than diesel.

What are our predications for the price of a litre of diesel at the close of the year? I reckon it'll be £1.70 litre but I think it could be higher if things get really out of hand in Libya and the Middle East.
