Pain in the rear this govt at the moment- i am sure there could be an EU ruling about passing on unfair taxes to the populace..if they can rule about Women drivers, then i reckon there should be equality about petrol too and a few other things..but not if it is to our detriment of course;):rotfl:

I agree. We pay 20% tax on our shoes, jeans and chinese takeaways. Boots, Vodafone, Wayne Rooney (I do want to play for you/ I don't want to play for you/ oh go on - w****r) and Barclays can pay at least 20%.

When 'Call me Dave' has turned us into a tax haven we'll all be working for the Big Society for nowt and I won't have to worry about dieting cos I'll be starving!

Google a bit on "flat tax". It was bandied about a bit a couple of years ago and the treasury went a bit brown-trouser over it.

We are already a tax haven for the Non-Doms.

There will always be work in the military. I wonder who we'll invade?

Don't worry about 'Dave'. He doesn't actually matter. It is the fin de siècle - and nothing can stop the change.
