Ooh, Bob, all that cooking! Yum. I have a fair bit to sort before I actually start cooking - now I've sorted my laptop out again, I have to sort my cooker (thats just getting an oven thermometer and sort of calibrating it), a new mobile phone, the new printer, and oh yes, the food processor
For now, since its only 7am, I'm going to have some brekkie and read that gardening blog. 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hope you enjoyed the gardening blog, i am dipping into it bit by bit

Well today my plans were scuppered. We started to get the fence panels out and sort out which were salvageable and which weren't:o
Unfortunately there is hardly anything which is. Started to knock slats off and they were crumbling away, as they are rotten beneath the fence preservative, so what looked ok- actually isn't.
The wood i had, just won't do. After pricing up what needed doing, it worked out cheaper to buy ready made or custom made panels....so my frugal plan has kind of back fired, as i have 14 fence panels to replace! That includes ones which have been sorted, i did a lot last year, but obviously the bad weather has finished things off- i have 16 in total to replace. So have been visiting places today to sort out prices and see how much the damage is:o
Good news is one neighbour will contribute to costs for his side.
Other good news is that the fridge freezer will be delivered on Thursday:D:D:j So i can make savings by bulk buying again:D
Enjoying the weather though so i aim to make the most of it before the end of the day.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I know what you mean SW, because i have no fridge and just a cool box at the moment, i am having to plan things daily. I have given in tonight and Mr.B is off to the chip shop. Not exactly frugal, but i have been so busy all day, i just haven't had time..Mr.B has also been busy helping an elderly neighbour chop down a tree and cut it up..so Kudos for him today.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
