I am really looking forward to the fridge freezer coming and also to the washing machine being sorted. I am washing by hand at the mo. A good neighbour is lending me her washing machine, but i won't take advantage too much.

It really makes you appreciate things more especially when they've gone wrong. My washer decided to die at Christmas in the middle of all the snow, so pleased when it was mended.

My washing machine has died about 2 times this year! Since we bought it, i reckon it has been fixed over 8 times, hence the replacement machine Luckily we have enough clothes, but seem to have used all the towels yet again. I have mentioned to DD2 and DS1 that towels can be dried and used more than once given the circumstances at the mo..a fact which seems to particularly have escaped DD2.

Gosh am i unclean? i use my towels for a week. Noone has ever complained.... to my face! eeek

No i would say not SW, i do the same. I am just despairing that DD often uses more than one towel per shower/bath, and will use fresh each time.

I have had to say no to another schoolfriend's 40th birthday party. They are all well paid doctors and i am broke paying for housey. I just can't afford to travel so far. Still don't know where i went so wrong? Not getting 4 As at A level probably. Being ripped off by builders is not nice. Wonder what will happen when they go to Heaven. Am hoping Steve McQueen will kick 'em hard in the goolies.

I take it that you are just drying them and sticking them back out for re-use Boblet?

Hello again, have to go to next village to use t'interweb....2 1/2 mile walk does me good....so you see the lengths I must go to!

I must read back through this new Diary, maybe when BB and I are installed in the cottage I'll be able to keep up again.

Hope you ( and all the rest of you) are good....I'm off for a well-earned:D hol in Portugal next week so I'll have several drinks for you all. Seeing as the apartment is above a bar that shouldn't be too difficult!!

Divorce is trundling along and it will be nice when it's all sorted....financially if nothing else. ....miss my dogs though;)
