On the flip side though, i have had to give in and get a new fridge freezer.

The darned thing was showing 18 degrees on the fridge, the freezer is fully frosted up( frost free freezer) advice was to turn it off, then let it defrost and put it back on- err not worked.

So i have been online and instore to a variety of shops today- i even asked for discount for cash- which was turned down by a snot nosed youngster in Curry's. He said that he couldn't as it was £50 off already, so i said well i will order through quidco then and get online discounts. He looked like he wanted to murder me..:D:rotfl::rotfl: As it turned out, Argos were doing the same freezer, cheaper, cashback and 12 months interest free credit. Suits me nicely sir:D Plus i get a voucher:D:D So i now have an option.

I am currently using a neighbours fridge and freezer to store things and in the house i have my camping cool box- which is electric, so that will keep some of DD2's insulin cool ( the rest is in neighbours fridge) and will keep milk and whatnot cool.. be prepared:D

Also had an unexpected payout today, as my tyre had a nail in it:mad: Had to put the foam stuff in it as i couldn't get the nuts off to change the tyre. So took it to the only garage open- £50 for a new tyre:o He said he couldn't repair it because i had used the foam- duh, that's what it is for. The tyres were only replaced in September as well- i am a bit miffed to say the least, considering they were just realigned and sorted in the service and MOT, then there was the car tax to pay out for..

Moan over, it is just one of those days. At least i am able to pay for things and have the money/options to source things. So for that i am grateful.

It is a tad windy today as well so not gardening today. There have been some fires on the local moors as well which is being fanned by the wind:o Hope it clears soon.

arrrggghhh really feel for you with the tyres ... i know how annoying that can be ... i reckoned our old car had magnets in the tyres ... the amount of nails it picked up was ridiculous ...

yay though to the fridge freezer ... i say that cause i am so frustrated with my own ... will be looking for a new fridge and a new freezer ( going to go for seperates this time i think) when i get home ( that is if son gets the house he is currently planning on) let me know how you go there ....

shame about the garden though if you were stuck you couls always pop on up to mine and do a bit of weeding ? i dread to think what state it is in

just read about the fires ... hope they get sorted soon ... it seems this time of year is really bad for them ... i remember the nature park was having to put out several every day

I reckon i would get blown off the M6 If i tried to pop up, i bet it is not in as bad a state as you think. I wanted to get the lawn mowed but the grass keeps blowing everywhere so gave it up as a bad job after a couple of mins. Hopefully it will die down a bit tonight and stop the smoke blowing off the moors. I dread to think of the damage to the environment.

I did fancy separate, but i wouldn't have the same cubic capacity as this ff. So i opted for that instead.

I have a fab fridge freezer. Bosch, 4 years old - a light went on it once no other probs. Am looking for a storage freezer (so i dont have to chuck food away and can keep it and be a bit more MSE) hopefully i can buy one next month.

I agree it is too windy for gardening. I have been tidying cosmetic cupboards. Chucked out lots of poop. I feel slightly OCD but it is sooo cathartic. Everything is lined up in order!

I like lining things up as well- i wanted to clean my cupboards in the kitchen, but may do that tonight. I am sick of the sight of my kitchen at the moment as i just want to keep kicking the washing machine and fridge freezer..not good for my toes :):rotfl::rotfl:

Mine has brown tiles! Butti's idea of painting tiles was fab. After builder's go i will try it. It is the only room i haven't managed to do up yet.

We sound like bored bouncers. I am going to rest and have a cup of tea. Back later. Have a good afternoon.
