Had a mixed day today, but the weather is beautiful and i had the windows down in my car, music playing out - was just glorious.:D
Must admit i gave in to temptation today, i went to my fave butchers:o I spent £9 ...which given, the quality of the products wasn't so bad ( she said shuffling feet and shouting budget, budget, budget:eek:)
That is my only spends though this week other than petrol:D So will duly add it onto grocery budget.
Busy week as i wind down to the end of term so will be about a bit next week..or not depending on the weather.:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Pork and chive for me Beanie, plus some lovely pork loin chops- which are spicy flavour:D
I did have a lovely conversation with the butcher a bit and he knocked me £2 off and chucked in a pork pie, as it was the end of the day and he said i was cheeky;):rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Sounds like going to the butchers was a good idea i dont find asda etc much cheaper than a butchers but the quality of a butchers is much much superior for some reason .... And u got £2 off and a pie thrown in asda wouldnt do that would it ?
I also ( being the community anarchist that i am ) like to put the money back into the community as much as possible0 -

I agree, it is a family run Butcher's and at Christmas they rear their own Turkey's - we know where the meat comes from and it is good quality..i will have to further resist as he said next week they were putting on some BBQ offers and he would save me a pack..he also was trying to tempt me with his curry range, and the Lamb Henry's were gorgeous:o I can feel a spend coming on.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

But a valuable spend .... Some things are worth splashing out for ... Quality does trump quantity0
