I signed up and have now cancelled my account.
The promised translation only applies to the listing title and not to the body of text!
Listing fees on ebay .de (Germany) are very high and little warning is given by Webinterpret. I found that while I was on the testing phase they were my best friends and were really attentive. Once I signed up for the full programme things changed.
Queries took a long time to be answered - when answered they usually took no responsibility. The replies were often vague and in poor english.
We did have some extra sales but overall lost money on the experiment.
Their "don't care" attitude has amazed me and I could not recommend their services.
you are not a competitor are you, by any chance?0 -
After joining in a webinar and numerous phone calls with a representative from Webinterpret, I decided to give the two month free trial a go - as it was explained to me that it would cost me NOTHING during the trial period. Today was the first day when my listings went live and so far my Ebay fees have racked up over £200 in fees. I feel disgusted and let down. I would never have agreed to it in the first place if I had been told the truth.
I am going try and cancel the agreement forthwith and ask for a refund of the fees.
WHAT A CON!!!!0 -
Webinterpret are safely the WORST company I have ever dealt with. After my 2 month free trial via the ebay offer, after listing incorrect items, incorrect translations, incorrect listing descriptions, incorrect prices, I decided not to continue with them. They seemed surprised. Then they continued to list my items on ebay, racking up listing fees. No courtesy of even a phone call or any inclination to correct the issue. Just silence. Then once a month I receive a feedback email asking whether I have received good or bad service. Complete *&^£%^
I'd like to speak to their managing director if he has the guts to confront me!0 -
One of my favourite hobbies is reading bad translations on Chinese wholesale websites. Many fun findings can be uncovered;)terra_ferma wrote: »
Chinese sellers are able to do listing in any language.... they probably get them translated and then they can't answer queries properly..0
