I haven't.
I personally don't list on sites in languages I can't understand, buyers will expect you to speak the local language (not like if they come and buy on ebay UK).
Messages, disputes, it will all be in the foreign language.

However if you want to add a blurb in another language to you listing to attract buyers, it may work.

Haven't used it, don't see how they can say a listing will appear in a few minutes if they are using a translator rather than an online system of some sort. They also don't seem to say what the charges are after the free trial.

Just been onto ebay.fr to have a quick look around. came across this listing 120624825243 from a UK seller which has the webinterpret icon at the bottom. They don't seem to have done much to the listing have they ? I reckon you could do just as well with babel fish to translate a few key phrases and just list it yourself.

Nous parlons français? I'd like to see how much french nous parlons when they start getting some tricky issue with a French buyer...

Chinese sellers are able to do listing in any language.... they probably get them translated and then they can't answer queries properly.
Considering they have "addresses" all over the place (as in the location the item is supposed to be), worse case scenario a UK seller with a bad translation can be mistaken for a Chinese seller pretending to be in the UK. Be careful with automatic translators, they often get it wrong and if you don't know the language at all you don't know what you are actually telling your buyers..

I translated your post into French in Google and then translated the French back into English on babelfish.

L' did not use, do not see how they can say a list will appear in a few minutes if they are with l' d' helps; a translator rather than d' a system in line d' a certain kind. They do not seem not-with-to say which are the loads after l' free test.

Right summer on ebay.fr d' to have a quick glance around. fell on this advertisement 120624825243 auprès d' a salesman of the United Kingdom which has WebInterpret icon in bottom. They for the list have they do not seem to have made much? I think as you could make as well with Babel Fish to translate some key sentences and simply the list yourself.

I find Google Translate to be very good for reading but I would be very careful using it for writing.

Okay I accept that online translators aren't perfect, but at least they give you a sense of what is meant. The back and forth into babel fish isn't perfect but if you were coming to it without seeing my original post are you sure you wouldn't get at least some of what I meant. The only time recently that I wrote in French I used Babel fish (to tell a buyer in Quebec, Canada about the postal delays) and apologised for using an online translator which judging by the feedback was well received.

Actually thinking about it the main thing you would need translated would be Ebays T&C's for each individual site. I wonder if webinterpret will do that for you? and do they interpret any questions you get.

Or I could just be xenophobic (I wonder how many times that word has been used on MSE?) and do all my adverts in English and EXPECT that it is understood

I also love Google for reading but my only experience of using it for writing was bad. However perhaps here's an idea:

List in English

Once listed revise listing to add a link to On-Line Automatic Translator pointing back to the listing so it can also be read in intended language with the reader being fully aware it is an automatic translation. This may work as a full site translation.

Now to finish off you just need to add some keywords in the intended language to help searches.

Bleeding hell no one use it!
By listing the top 50 items they have just cost me an extra £200 in listing fees.
They put each one on different ebay platforms which was not explained properly.
So that is 50 items listed as well as the normal listing I do on eight different Ebay platforms.

Wow, I didn't know there were 50 ebay sites, if that's what platform means.
Listing where you don't have a shop can be very expensive in some countries.
