I'm confused about this link that the OP mentions, too.

I've seen the link that malkie76 refers to that mentions 33" legroom.

are you saying that you saw a link that specifically stated 29" legroom?

Was this just on your specific flight?

Is the link you mentioned the Important Information link in this picture?

in the case of the dummy booking I tried the important info was:

Yes, this is what is confusing me! This just states standard cabin but as the link on the website (provided earlier) states 33" legroom as standard then that is what I would expect and I'd be rather annoyed too!

No doubt the small print will state that alternative substitute airplanes can be used which may not have the same configuration as originally promised for operational reasons.

On the planes you travelled on 2 years ago...you can't make a blanket statement about every plane an airline might fly on a particular route...it's like when people say X airline is crap because they don't have seat-back entertainment, because the plane they were on didn't...but reviewing the options when booking they could have selected a different flight on the same airline that would have seat-back entertainment. Not every flight on a particular airline will be the same, even to the same destination on the same day (where they have multiple flights on the same day to the same destination)...let alone flights 2 years apart.

  • Unfortunately the important info link on the flight I booked did have the info that this particular flight has no seatback entertainment and has 29" legroom. Looking at alternative options as we speak but particularly gutted because my mother in law has found cheaper deal elsewhere but best we can do is amend our booking and pay even more

ah, OK, got it now...I wasn't getting the 11am flight when I looked before...sorry to say that I can see TC's point now...that the info was disclosed before you booked (though I understand that you didn't see it)...sorry, not a great situation for you. :(

are you sure not getting confused with thomson airways?

TC do not fly BRS-SFB only thomson fly that route using 763 aircraft with decent leg room.

the TC service really is crap having read the above booking info they only give 15kg of baggage on long haul along with 29" pitch and no seat back tv on some flights!!!!!!
