Don't worry too much about rattles all the ones I have driven that are over 1 yr old have had the odd rattle from the dash, and if yours has the armrest attached to the drivers seat don't push down on it too hard as they tend to break.0

Or maybe not;

An interesting comparison.
Vauxhall indeed did suffer from a minor squeal on the back brakes of the Zafira A, due to a sticky batch of pistons. They did a recall, changed the calipers suppliers on new vehicles, and voluntarily rectified the fault
Toyota took the stance there were no problems, denied everything, were forced to take action, and now have been slated worldwide, and even by the Japanese government for bringing Japanese quality into disrepute.0 -
Yeah all cars have rattles not too fussed! Yes the brakes work!..mines a late 06 plate so out of that bracket on honest johns review. The sqeak happens when i accelerate at a certain point and stops when i ease off so will keep an eye on it.
Thanks x0 -

our first set of ambulance rapid respinders were Zadira's (diesel) couldn't tell you the exact model, but we ditched them in 2008 - 2009 in favour of the Skoda Octavia Scout estate.
The main reason was engine reliability caused by the pariculate filter - heavy oil useage then cam failure, and also gearbox problems. also due to summer tyres they are crap handling in colder weather. anything below 6 degreees they seem to suffer
We have a few left that are still to finish their lease, but the responder crews won't drive them if there is a Skoda available.
Be careful you don't end up buying one that could be ex ambulance lease. they will probably go to auction after we have finished with themDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0 -
Really?

Well those made by that doyen of "quality" Toyota certainly do. It must be down to the way the cheap and nasty plastic interiors are put together!
My previous Vauxhall, in comparison, was totally rattle free. Possibly because it was built to a far lower standard than Toyota with much more inferior components?:p0 -
