    I'm thinking I might have to phone tomorrow and tell them that my chairs have been lost in the post lol..

    As far as I am aware, it is a legally binding contract when it is dispatched so it appears they are yours. But, it saying dispatched may just be a system (or admin) mistake. If so, I don't think its legally binding (but worthy of a complaint and some free vouchers for you).

    And if it was dispatched on the 9th, you should have it by now (which also points to a mistake).

    Good luck though. Hope it has been sent.

    The terms and conditions clearly say that the order was not confirmed until the items are despatched, and we have it in black and white that they have been. The chairs must be ours!!!! I think we could fight this one and get them.What could M&S say?

    There are so many colour options for these chairs that I am presuming that they are made to order.I am also thinking that maybe they are made abroad and that is why we were told shortly after the order was placed that we could not amend it.If this is the case then could it be possible that they were despatched in Feb (from wherever) to arrive in UK for March....and maybe they will be here any day.

    yeah checked and mines the same. The only thing is though that it says despatched on the first screen but when you then view order from there is still shows as despatching. Unsure where we stand, might just hold out a bit longer. What do you reckon?

    haha. Yes, there is a tiny, tiny, tiny chance that that could be what is happening (just to keep your dream alive :D) but I highly doubt so.

    I hope you do get it, it annoys me big companies list things cheaply, get lots of orders then cancel them all saying sorry, mistake. Serves them right to make a loss, maybe in the future they will take more care.

    And surely it has some sort of tracking number? I don't see it being sent royal mail package (if thats even a service or possible). If there's no form of tracking then you have as much chance of getting it as Newcastle United do of winning proper silverware within the next 10 years - not very likely :(

    I'm stumped on this.I have a strong urge to phone them tomorrow and fight all the way, as I can do a print out to show that the order has been despatched, as per terms and conditions. Another part of me says just wait a few more days.
    I wonder if Sindydee's account said despatched when she phoned them last night.
    It's at times like this that I wish MSE Martin could give us advice.
    And yes, forever.insane I will continue to dream...LOL
