Morning:)
Feeling a little delicate from last night but much better than I thought I would be. Although I haven't counted up exactly how much I spent out of my budget, I know I have bought home around £20. Im sure I remember seeing a £2 coin in my change somewhen, so when I go through it all later I will update my totals. I will be throwing some of that change in the sealed pot as it was already technically 'spent' out of this weeks money so I won't miss it.
I still have 4 days left of this week and about £40 left in my purse. I don't really need to buy anything but its nice to have it there in case something unexpected comes up.
Have put my £1 in the holiday fund, so that is at £3 already, it soon adds up doesn't it!
Just had a look in my change from last night, there was 2 x £2 coins so they are straight in the pot.:T That's 6 I have got in the last week and total now stands at £12.
I am waiting for a few payments in to my account which will go into my Extra Earning's savings account:
£3.05 cheque from refund
£5.90 Ebay payment
£3.63 Quidco payment
£? from selling my gold (hopefully find out today or monday how much)
£? from selling two old mobile phones (waiting for the envelope to send them off)
It is going up nicely. I am hoping to add to this list with a few more eBay sales this week. I also have £8 ish tracked in Quidco.
A lazy day for me today. I will be trying to get a little nap in later on, we havent got anything planned today so I will be taking it easy:D
Off to update totals in signature and will be back later with a total for the sealed pot.November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Didn't manage NSD yesterday as needed to get more bread and milk in, so went to the co op and ended up spending £6.93. Got another £2 coin as change so have thrown that plus the left over 7p into the pot. £1 Holiday fund money also put away.
Have £31 left in purse to last 3 days so easily doable. Will be staying away from the shops today so aiming for NSD number 2!
I now have bids on two eBay items, I am hoping that everything else sells too as I really want to increase the Extra Earnings pot:)
Yesterday was so hot and I managed to get loads of washing dry on the line, hoping for another nice one today.
Will be making another payment to credit card tomorrow but I think that will be it for the week. With so much to pay out this month before the holiday, the payments will slow down. I will be picking it back up in July when we have come back from holiday.
Back to school tomorrow. DS1 has a maths exam so fingers crossed he does well on that.
Have a lovely sunday!November NSD's - 70 -
hi there
can i say that though you are worried about your food spending, I would say with doing several different meals some nights that you are probably doing ok with this!
I think you are doing very well. One thing to think about though, would be to buy woopsied bread and freeze it, and also buy milk once a month and freeze that. it would be one less chance to overspend at the supermarket.....
Nice one on the butlins holiday next year sounds like it was a good deal

Thanks Chev:)
Great advice, I do try and get reduced bread but find it very difficult to get out to shop in the evenings with being on my own plus DS3 has an extreme fear of supermarkets (he is ok in little ones though). It is very stressful to take him as he literally shakes with fear and gets very distressed. Hence the shopping in co op this week!
Unfortunately my freezer will not take the 180 pints we consume in a month:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: However usually during term time I will buy creamfields milk (purple one at tesco) which is usually £1.10 for 6pts and buy enough for each week and freeze some of them. It might be an idea though to stock up on maybe one extra per week and freeze that so I have a surplus during holiday time, especially with the summer hols coming up....still think I might need another freezer though!November NSD's - 70 -
The pots are building up nicely already!

Hypno - yes they are aren't they:D I think when the sealed pot reaches £100 in total, I may bank the cash and whip £100 off my overdraft. I would like to see this back in the black in as quicker time as possible.:jNovember NSD's - 70

Thanks Brummiebabe....hope things are going well with you? I just want to get myself sorted now, pack back the bit I owe and start getting some money into savings.
I have a target date for when I want to be completely sorted and debt paid plus all booked holidays paid for including spending money, savings pots started for Xmas 2012 and also savings pots for holidays for 2013, so I can pay for trips in full at the time. I want this all done by 28th March 2012, which is DS1 16th birthday.November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Kids all back to school/college this morning so will be very quiet here today!
£53.27 paid to credit card this morning taking my 100 day challenge to £209.47/£600.
I have paid todays and tomorrows £1 to the holiday fund making that £6 now.:j
Yesterday was NSD number 2. Will be a spend day today as I have a few bits to get from Tesco before my weekly shop on Wednesday.
Three items are now selling on eBay, hoping to get more for them before listings end tomorrow night.
Also hoping to hear back about the gold I sent off at some point today. Would be nice to get a decent amount for my Extra Earnings pot.:T
Cubs tonight so £8 to pay out there. My purse total will have dropped considerably by the end of the day but as I am planning a NSD for tomorrow, I will probably throw any leftovers in my purse after shopping today straight in the sealed pot.
Straight to Tesco after the school run this morning, I need enough milk to last us through until Wednesday morning and some fresh stuff. I am on target to come in on budget for this months Grocery Challenge. Currently £319.74 to last 25 days. Completely doable!:D
I will be putting the finishing touches to this weeks meal plan later today and also making a start on July's budget.
Will be getting my currency for the holiday next week. Cant believe it is only a month away until we go! Still haven't bought any clothes yet, but I am planning to do that before the end of the month.
Have a great day everyone!November NSD's - 70
