Radio Times - is anyone else hacked off with constantly late delivery?

• Well, it's Tuesday today and issue dated 22-28 Jan turned up (as it should do) but still no issue for 15-21 Jan so I can only assume I'll never receive it and either a neighbour or a postie is benefiting from it?? Maybe it is a Royal Mail problem then?

At last! One's turned up on time - complete with a note of apology to subscribers for recent delays. Perhaps they've finally got the message that the only way they're going to keep their subscribers (who are very valuable to them) is by keeping their promise to deliver no later than it appears in the supermarkets.

It talks of delays with 'latest copy', which were 'slightly late' leaving despatch centre in Wakefield but 'handed to Royal Mail with at least 4 days to ensure delivery'. Delays put down to backlog of Christmas post - how much more time do they need to clear that? Now undertaking a review to improve delivery, and seeking urgent meeting with Royal Mail.

email radio.times@servicehelpline.co.uk or phone 01795 414916 with name, address and 11 digit subscriber number with any further questions or comments.

ours arrives in good time - we don't buy any papers so can't get listings from there and tbh the only reason we have this at the mo is cos we got paid to have it via a cashback deal

Hi Sue - do you have the details of this cash back deal please? Is it cheaper than the 8 issues for a £1 and then normal subscription?

It's not just Radio Times that has been suffering delays caused by Royal Mail. I've had emails from Private Eye and from my wife's Yours magazine apologising for similar delays.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Mine has been one day late since the snow - but then I just pay £19 something per quarter as I bagged a great deal a while ago. I enjoy the articles, however it mostly stays in the smallest room for those who need something to read.
