sorry missed a bit off that it should have read - Let them be as if what is said on here ebay and the tax office are in cahoots, let them sort it out.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0

The problem with that attitude is ebay is a big place and the seller here http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/abatoday/ that Mobile48 found according to their profile has been trading since 09-Nov-08 so I think they must rely to some extent on tip offs then the tax office and ebay work together to find out what is going on.sorry missed a bit off that it should have read - Let them be as if what is said on here ebay and the tax office are in cahoots, let them sort it out.0 -
A traffic offence and murder are two totally diferent crimes.Utter tripe. Fantasy logic. That's akin to saying if someone drives above the speed limit they will be stabbing your granny next.
Ripping off large organisations is far removed from directly stealing from other sellers.
There is an old saying however once a thief always a thief.
It is not that different seeing the opportunity to steal from a large organisation and then going ahead and stealing from them, to seeing the opportunity to steal from another seller and then going ahead and stealing from the seller.
Most criminals are opportunists this is a fact and lots of criminals started their criminal career by shop lifting when they were young then moved on to other crimes like burglary and fraud when they got older and this is also a well known fact.
So I would say the logic in my statments are based on facts not fantasy once someone has decided there is money to be made by stealing then if another opportunity arises to make more money by stealing they will probably take that opportunity to get the extra money and go ahead and steal it.0 -
I suggest you never let a plumber, builder or joiner in to your house. Never come across one yet who hasn't done "cash jobs". They are doing exactly what this seller is doing, not declaring income.
Your "facts" ignore many social factors involved in becoming a career criminal, and are also selective tosh.
By all means fire away trying to clean up ebay. Just don't carry on as if it's the end of civilisation.0 -
Ever watch the program on TV Watchdog and I believe Martin is on there from time to time giving out money saving tips.I suggest you never let a plumber, builder or joiner in to your house. They have a section on there called Rouge Traders which is dedicated to plumbers, builders and joiners most of which do cash jobs for people that then cost thousands of pounds just to put right the damage they have done by cutting corners or the fact that these plumbers, builders or joiners have ripped off some poor punter by doing unnecessary work by scaring the person into believing it was needed or their house would fall down.
So thanks for the tip but I already know that when a plumber, builder or joiner mentions the words discount for cash to kick him straight out of my front door and call someone else.
And thank you also for making my point exactly as these tradesmen were probably at some point on the level until the opportunity arose to make some extra cash by evading tax so they took it, then by adding a few bits and pieces on to a customes bill to get some more extra cash did not seem so bad until they got to the stage where now they are on Rouge Traders for conning people outright.
If anybody reading this has a business on ebay then they will know that a few scammers is not the end of the world, but if the scammers were not there life would be just a little bit better.0 -
scammers and rouge traders will still be there whatever you do.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0
