Argos-Item not as described, what can I do?

Well took the product to my local store and got a full refund, explained to the girl the situation and she said no problem. The laptop in question was the MSI X610 now for sale at £408 at the time of buying there was no offer of £10 off an external drive.

Glad you got it sorted with no hassle.

Incidentally, I reserved an item online with Argos last night, I knew that there was an error in the item description (it was a dry vacuum cleaner, listed to have a 10ltr water tank capacity :rotfl:). When I went into store to pay and collect there was actually a bit of blub that came up on the til screen for the guy to read to me saying that there were 'differences' to the catalgoue description. Though interestingly, it didn't specify what, so not very helpful if you didn't already have an idea what the catalogue error was. Seems like there is a bit of a 'cut and paste' issue with some item descriptions.

It will be interesting to see if Argos do in fact correct the error that I pointed out to them.

Argos may argue its not a mistake and simply indicates what kind of drives it is compatible for. Whilst its not common I have seen similar before.
