Tesco 12month Iphone contract
Hi all,
I currently have a iphone (3GS) £20 a month contract with Tesco, which comes to a end on the 2nd of February.
I would like to upgrade to the Iphone 4
My question is will they get in touch with me or do i have to ring them, thing is cant find a number for any sort of upgrade team.
Does anybody know who i need to talk to?

You will need to contact them, your contract will just continue otherwise, they don't just come to an end. I'm not aware that Tesco offer retention deals like the big players so they are likely to want a lot more ££ of you for an iphone4.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

you should be able to upgrade now ring 4455
if you upgrading in shop then you just sign a new contarct just before your billing date which might be different to the contract date then ring them if you want to keep the same number
you can check your billing date online and by ringing 4455
i am buying iphone4 within next 2 days from shop as i get staff discount:DHonesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
you are on!
if i had known then what i know now!
a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
Thanks for your replies
Just seems a bit strange that i have to start a new contract, when i have been a customer of theres for the last 2 years
Thought i might be entitled to some sort of reduction:(0 -
I just called tesco retentions. I have a 3GS for the last year on £20 a month with triple credit. No different offer on new iPhones compared to online store.
Did get the following for £10 a month on a 30 day rolling contract.
- 500 min any time any network
- 3000 texts
- 1gb of data
It was a no brainer for me although I'd love a great deal on iPhone 4.0 -
I came on this site to discuss what the best iphone 4 offers are but got distracted readong loads of other stuff thwere is so much useful stuff on here. Anyway my wife has the 12 month iphone 4 deal at £35 a month and that seemed to be the best offer out there. I was !!!!!!! down the high street today however and see a sign in the three shop offering the iphone 4 for cheaper. I did not have the time to check things out though as was in a rush as usual. So in short what is the best offer right now I dont want a long contract and are three any good there days I left them a couple of years ago as their network kept dropping out I am with O2 at the moment on a very old 16gb Iphone 3G that is on its last legs

Tesco still has the best overall price if your a low talker, and tesco use 02s network.0

Tesco prices has gone up
, the cheapest is now £25 per month with £342 upfront for iPhone 4 16GB making it £642 for 12 months in total.
It used to be £589 (£349 for phone and £20 x 12)

I am due to finish my Tesco 12 month contract this month also...I was wondering if anyone has anything else to comment re: incentives to stay with tesco for another 12 months (ie. ANY reduction on a iPhone 4). I mean if I ssay im swith=ching to another network, will they try to keep me with them or just let me go?0

They will just let you go, a low spending customer is expensive to keep, besides Tesco appear to be doing the better VFM deals, so where are you going to switch to?
