Petrol pump overflow is expensive and dangerous

Exactly my point. Oddly enough, brake fluid WILL ignite very easily, even on a hot exhaust manifold. Which makes it a shame that most cars have plenty of it in a reservoir above the engine, many of them on rubber mounts that will shear nicely in an accident.
I stopped at a petrol station in Germany where the smoking area was between the pumps and the shop, under the canopy out of the snow.
I was a bit suprised, but it was -25 and breezy so the level of fuel vapour would have been pretty low!
Anyway, I think we've gone OT enough now!0
