Life ruined. A shame really.
Why is his life ruined?
Some people commit crimes, pay their debt to society, come out, go straight and do well. Admittedly, with our underfunded, creaky penal system this is not what the majority do, but it happens, frequently.
When he gets out, the slate will be clean. It will be up to him.
Don't write his future for him.0 -
Perhaps he could become a fireman.0

Mindless prat - even in the heat of the moment it's pretty darn obvious that if that had hit someone they would be dead. My only grumble is now my taxes are paying for him while he's in prison.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

32 months for throwing an object from a roof and not hitting anyone?
Surely those that desecrated Charles and Camilla's ride will get the death penalty.0 -

He'll write about his beliefs and experiences whilst [STRIKE]at the university of life[/STRIKE] in prison, and no doubt a publisher will pay him £mega for his thoughts. He's gonna have time on his hands.
If he doesn't do this, he's not had the right advice.
He'll be free to star as a contestant on the 2012 edition of Strictly Come Dancing on The Ice X Factor (early release with good behaviours).
Or he could become the iconic revolutionary leader for the anti-establishment movement.

Why is anyone that stupid worried about university tuition fees?
What's really stupid is that he's 18, meaning that he would have been due to start uni this year, thereby missing the fee rise.
By doing this he's made sure that - if he ever does go to uni now - he will pay the higher fees.0 -

I'm so glad that this thug is behind bars - he should have got much longer.
let's look at the evidence.
he's 18.
he's from a stable, happy family environment.
he has no previous convictions.
his actions were dangerously irresponsible but no-one got hurt.
he heeded the shouted advice from his college mates on the ground to 'stop throwing'.
this guy is a real threat to society and will continue to be in the yrs to come.
in other news: the 19yr old scumbag who burgled 3 properties in my area last august, threatened an 89 yr old lady and thought he'd got away with a £3000 'haul' ended up with a 9 month detention centre order. (oh, and he's served for 'previous').
in mitigation he said 'at least I don't have a dodgy haircut and I don't do demen..demin..demonstrashuns.0
