Hi Moozie - Lovely day here too, but I've got two jumpers on because it is BITTER out of the sun. Glad your toe doesn't hurt any more.
Went shopping at ASDA today (not my favourite shop) and spent £26.00 - this is the main week's shop though.
No more spending today - but WILL need to go to Tesco tomorrow for Fresh Bread (much nicer than ASDA) and Sandwich Fillings - will go at usual time - about 30 minutes before shop closes - to take full advantage of price reductions.

Just got back, spent £2.25 on some baguettes and a cake - OK so the cake wasn't budgetted for, but it was reduced and I couldn't resist. :(

  • Dear folks

Cold but bright, sunny and autumny-gold here.
Finally got moving house date. Today we sold a very good wardrobe for £300 - buyers so pleased they gave us a bottle of champagne! Started doing some christmas shopping:

£20 on fairtrade christmas cards, DIY crackers and advent calendar for the children.
£20 on recycled card blanks, card and paper for the children to make christmas cards
£25 splashed out on quiet fireworks and sparklers for a friend's party and for moving into our new house
£10 on christmas tree candles and advent candle for the children
£6 on allergy tablets because I have been sneezing for weeks!

Planning to spend some money on brown paper wrapping for christmas presents plus string and to attempt to decorate with dried fruits to give it a christmassy lift.

    Enjoy the sunshine.
