How much have you spent today Saturday 4/11?

Good morning lovely DFWs :D

Beautiful morning down here for me :D as I've only just got out of bed! I had breakfast brought to me as well as coffee and magazines, to help me recover ;) OH is very good at all this nursing stuff so I am going to be poorly for a few days yet :p

In fairness, the toe is not hurting at all today :j but the bandage is so big, it looks quite major. I am just glad the pain is gone!

I shall be putting a flip flop on and going shopping later as I have to get on with my Christmas cards and need a few bits and bobs. I will report how much I spend later.

Have a lovely day everyone and wrap up warm, looks cold out there!

Moozie x

    Morning moozie.

    Glad the pain is gone!

Not sure how much I will spend today - the plan is to stroll down the shops, LOOK without buying, and then pick up some baguettes to use up some stuff left in the fridge tonight for tea.

Lets see if it works out like that.

I can spend whatever I like, it's my birthday!! I actually don't expect to spend very much though as I'm sure I'll have most of my drinks bought for me at my party tonight :)

I do have the heating on so that's costing me quite a bit. Needs to be warm when I have visitors though.

Have a good, cheap weekend everyone. I'll be back later tomorrow.

  • Finally updated my lil' black book to have a rolling total of money spent from one payday to the next. (Worked out that my outgoings were £500 more than my income last month, so I must have been kidding myself that the economy drive was going well!!!) Looking at the amount I've spent already in less than a week is just scary. Still, I'm hoping if I try to cut costs wherever I can, sooner or later it'll become second nature. Then, when chrimbo is done and dusted, I can start to chip away at the debts.

Anyway, enough rambling from me. Need to buy petrol on the way home this evening, and then pay out for fireworks if the weather holds. Am determined that will be all! :A

Disappointingly overcast here today, but towels out in the breeze nonetheless.
Glad your toe is on the mend moozie! And happy birthday Sammz :)
Today I would like not to spend anything, but I need one last Christmas present for a 6 yr old girl - any suggestions? Preferably something I can order online.

Edit to add: I've ordered her a 'mood beam', which she'll love. Got it from Firebox, via Quidco of course ;) £9.95
