New broadband availability checker tool - feedback

Hi all,

We've built a new tool to help you find the cheapest broadband that's available in your area, and we'd like your help in testing it.

It's in the cheap broadband article; if you could spare a minute to visit the broadband best buy checker tool and tell us if it works for you, or if you've spotted any issues, that'd be great.

It does work but unfortunately there's no chance ever of any LLU operators at my exchange!

According to your site I can't get Plusnet, but according to the Plusnet site I can!

Couldn't get anywhere entering my phone number (with and without dialling code), but I could access it by entering my postcode.

Looks about right for me and that was entering a VM cable phone number. Postcode shows same options.

Plusnet are nationwide so it's probably the cheap Plusnet which you can't get - their pricing varies by exchange market classification.

It's a little too simplistic. It says that I can get Plusnet but I actually get a far better broadband deal from Orange begause I have an Orange mobile contract.

My phone number is a VM number.

Wonder why a VM number will work for some, but not others?
