It's no wonder chucky chicken is getting all nasty, after that fox nearly killed him a week or two ago. What, with that little incident and the news from Halifax, it isn't suprising. I advised chucky to join a gym, but either that advice wasn't taken, or it isn't helping.

I simply make a few reasonable comments, and I get pecked by the chucky. Still, I have a box of Paxo in the kitchen cupboard, and I`m not afraid to use it.
what I don't understand is why chucky is so obsessed with grahamdevon.

there's a familiar thread; GD posts (good or bad), chucky wades in with abuse.

can someone help me out with this?

Just treat him with the contempt he deserves.

I saw his replies last night and thought this guy just is not worth it, he has already been caught out lying, then looses his bottle when challanged(i offered him a £1000 bet:)). Yesterday he makes something up about the Halifax data i posted on the 2004 data, something that another Bull poster had the grace to concede was fact.

I know what chucky is trying to do to me in particular, i made him look a total t***** by catching him out at xmas, he know whats to get his own spitefull revenge back, really is a sad little man.

Not that these monthly figures mean that much alone, but looked at from all the indicies there is without doubt a downward trend, you would have to be a muppet not to acknowledge the fact.

There will be falls this year, no doubt about, and in three years property prices wil be lower than they are now. The big question is though by how much, i don't think anyone with any honesty can be certain, the falls will be anything from -15% to -50%.

It seems that I'm getting similar treatment from chucky, but maybe not as much as Graham does (having said that, I don't post as much as Graham). If you type something that chucky doesn't agree with, he does tend to come back with abuse, or inaccurate accusations. I'm naming this phenomenom - pecking by the chucky. chucky seems a bit bitter about something, but I doubt we'll ever find out what it is. Maybe it's something to do with the time of the month, you know, when Halifax publish negative house price figures.

    I'm suprised chucky hasn't corrected you on this, wasn't it £5000 ?

Afterall, we're always wrong, and chucky is always right.

    really DesperateProf...

if you want to try and be clever in your posts with me, feel free.
if you can't take the responses that's something else; maybe it's because you're the type that goes off crying when he can't take it. and starts to blame someone else for starting it as you're doing now.

as for house prices... they go up, they go down, then they'll go up and they'll go down again. it's pretty simple.

Who says (apart from you) that I can't take the responses ? I do respond, and usually in a more clever, and mostly polite way than you seem to manage. And what's with this desperate business ? Can you please tell me what I`m deperate about ?

I don't feel desperate about anything. Maybe you might enlighten me what I should be desparate about.
