Newgirly, what you include would be up to you. At the end of the day what you put into it you will get out of it.
I give a nominal 1 mile for every hour of gardening and 0.1 mile for going up a flight of stairs. I don't know what you would use for exercise classes. Let me know what you decide.
I know Shala works a lot harder running a mile than I do cycling the same distance.Personal trainers  they scare the be-jesus out of me..I've managed to do over 25 miles in the 7 days I've actually been doing this - it's really motivating to have a target for the month, even though I know i'm going to be under target as I only started last week... like Peonie, I would have given up (again!) if the target didn't exist.
I started the challenge on the 26 February so my target that month was 18 kms. I would divide 168 kms by the number of days in the month then times by the number of days left.
Newgirly, if you start tomorrow your target would be 95.2 kms. Shala, you should pro-rata your target too.
If you hit that target early then carry on and aim for the full amount.25miles :eek: er, not sure this is my type of a challenge :rotfl:

Emotionally I'm in a bad place. Yet another friend announced her pregnancy. It's getting harder. I want to hide from the baby photos and emails about being new mums. It wasn't so bad when it was just one baby. Now they have had or are having their second and we're being left further behind. I can't stop crying. I'm supposed to see her next week, we hardly see each other as it is, but I don't know if I can. I want to take control of my life again but I don't know how.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Hey, didn't want to read and run..
:grouphug: big dodgy hugs for you.. do have anyone you can talk to about it all?Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hugs P,
Maybe try my favourite John Lennon quote "life is what happens whilst you're making other plans"?
I haven't read all your diary so I don't know all your circumstances on this, but I wanted to post some support.
Perhaps try and do things where you make friends with other childless people? As a childless couple we definitely notice it is easier to keep in touch with people without children. Don't give up your old friends, but keep on making new ones.

Oh Peonie. Big hug. :grouphug: It's so hard, isn't it? It's OK to cry off if you can't face it. I cried off a golden wedding party - the invite came within a few weeks of my split with X, and I just couldn't face it.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Thanks Shala, Katsu, Al and Lois, your support really means a lot. I've been speaking to Mr P and, after I finally dragged myself out of bed and into the shower, we went to see my parents this afternoon. I had a long chat with my mum and had a big hug.
My fertility specialist (FS) appointment is in a week and a half and I know that's a positive I need to focus on. But I wish it was before I meet my friend. If I knew he was to put me on some medication then I think I would be happier.
I'll see how I am and will cry off if I need to. I don't want to make her feel bad for feeling happy; just because I'm not. And, I certainly don't want to start crying.
Making plans with child-free couples sounds like a good idea. I'll have to make my excuses at work when the millions of pregnant women start talking about pregnancies and baby stuff.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Hi Peonie, I'm so sorry
hope you feel a bit better today, if you are not up to it then cancel your friend this time until you have seen the specialist, I have a few friends who have gone through the same thing all had different treatment to get pregnant and all now have children, best wishes.
