I can understand your confusion!

I've just checked this with our porting team to get the facts.

In life porting was started as a trial earlier last year for customers joining Vodafone through stores and over the phone.

We later opened this to outbound telesales orders and online orders. We now also offer this to Small Business customers joining via a Vodafone store.

This was also opened up to people who bought contracts through Carphone Warehouse in early October and to Phones 4 U and other dealers from late October last year.
