    Do all online agents use 08 telephone numbers generally?

    You may need to be more specific;

    080 no charge to caller
    082 internet for schools
    0844 up to 5p a minute
    0845 time charged calls
    0870 time charged calls
    0871 up to 10p a minute

    ???
  • Housenetwork.co.uk provided an excellent service from start to finish at an amazingly low price. I would not hesitate to recommend house network as the way forward in house sales. We have saved a significant amount of money all of which has enabled us to purchase several new items in our new house. Also we had tried two high street agents both of whom failed to market our property well or keep us up to date at all stages in the way you have. I am convinced that the professional service provided helped us secure a sale in a difficult and challenging property market where others fail. We sold our house and it cost us around £600 with housenetwork. Would have cost around £3000 in high street agent fees at 1.25%. Housenetwork don't supervise viewings but the high street agents were not always available to do this anyway. The online member website is great for staying in control. Yes if you don't sell in 6 or 12 months you have paid for marketing and not a lot else but 12 months should be long enough to sell any house. Housenetwork had us an offer in 3!

    I'm sure some people use HN, sell their property and are very pleased with the service received, but it would be far more convincing if they were active members of this site before popping in here every month or so to update this thread with effusive praise. ;)

    Even less convincing when they (or he - or she) seem to be working repeatedly from the same list of bullet points to be included in the post, in much the same order......

    I wouldn't know as all my dealings with House Network were through email/messaging; this was a huge benefit for me as it allowed me to respond late at night and automatically gave a paper trail as the sale progressed. High Street EAs seem to be way behind the times in their use of technology.

    Agreed. I never spoke to anybody at HN, apart from booking viewings, as the online stuff worked so well. It is so useful having the feedback in writing and daily updates.

    Silly people of course I'm new to the forum I've been busy selling my house. Maybe you lot are bored high street estate agents who cant stand to see inovation and technology change your business I looked for reviews to make my decision re housenetwork and just wanted to share a genuine review, take it or leave it... I'm no way an estate agent or salesman just someone who praises good service and is just as happy to condem it. Look at the quality of the online presentation alone. I was buying as well as selling and good photos, loads of detail and clear floor plans help me choose my new house.

    Maybe you're a Housenetwork employee working from a script. Maybe you're not.

    What innovation and technology do you suggest is available to online agents that isn't available to the high-street agents? Special websites? Unique websites? No, they just put their properties on Rightmove and other portals, same as the High-Street agents do. What else?

    Look at the quality of the online presentation alone.

    What about it? Are you suggesting that Housenetwork are the only agent in the land with good photographs....?
