I would have thought the SA's would have known if it was tomorrow because they need to change the Point Of Sale (wageslave<--knows all jargon since my convo earlier today:D)
However, I may well phone my local Boots first thing in the morning and ask.

I've seen so many posts on this forum starting off with these words lately. It seems such a shame that people feel they have to apologise when all they want to do is help other moneysavers.
Why is it such a big deal if someone posts about the same thing twice? Surely it isn't about grown adults being upset because the second person gets thanked instead of them? I have often seen a 'duplicate post' but missed the original and so wouldn't otherwise have benefited. I have also seen people duplicating mine and I just think "so what".
In another thread today I saw QUOTE:
I'm not sure why people are thanking OP as the post is really not very helpful, is it? Looking at other threads, the managers' specials seem to be store-specific but we don't know where or when the poster saw the stuff. /UNQUOTE
MSE never used to be like this and I'd just like to ask if we could get the old goodwill back, please and lose the pettiness.

I was going Bristol to see what stock levels were in Broadmead but unfortunately the road from mine was very icy so I turned around and came home. Anyone any idea what stock is like in Broadmead and Cribbs so I can decide where to go? Last year I went to Broadmead 1st and then on to Cribbs as it opens later. Somebody already mentioned Bath does not have much stock so will give that a miss. A bit short of money this year as I used most of my points for Xmas pressies and for a perfume set for DD's bday last week. Really want some more Totes slippers if they make to the sale. Think I will give the online sale a miss as it is too stressful. Lots of luck all.2020 Wins:

You must all be women
I highly doubt a sales assistant would be told anything about a sale untill they are told to stack the shelves the night before
Hallo Mr Snakeeyes . I'm afraid there are just no words to explain why 58 (when you posted) people thanked the OP for what you refer to as "a bit of gossip". It would be like asking "why is the sea wet" or "why do most men need 4 million hints about buying a Christmas gift, and still get it wrong?".
This "bit of gossip" is guaranteed to make most Bootsers smile, or even hyperventilate, whether it's true or not. You post "you must all be women " and for some unknown reason, it is the fairer sex who are expected to find Birthday and Christmas presents for all the family, at rock bottom prices.
And we do! Mummies, Grandmas, Daughters, Aunties and Sisters sprinkle their Fairy Dust and Make Christmas Happen. Somehow, we manage to find fantastic gifts, in the post Christmas Sales, many of which have been bought in the 75% Boots sale.
It may only be a rumour. It may not amount to anything. But the OP deserves a medal for perseverance, and superb spying skills! And it hasn't hurt anybody. And we love it! :T:T:T
