Boots 75% off sale - possible date

This is just a theory but I'm wondering if Boots will start it later today or -if not then- at some random time in the day that avoids going straight into it as they open. This would probably be a good thing, as it would mean less people clustered in the aisles at the same time (i.e. less conflict).

I guess word will spread pretty quickly though.

On reflection, I suppose this change might be a hassle to execute on the tills? (My experience of retail work is quite limited so I may be missing something here.)

Hi i know i havn't posted that much but i just phoned my local boots and they said its still 50% off

I rang my local store at 7.45 and they said not today.

I still went to the store to check, saw people queing outside and got excited.

Doors opened and we all rushed to the sale section, asked sa and she scanned an item and it came up as half price.

Hi I'm a newbie but a long time lurker!

I like many others just wanted to put in my 2 pence!

I do work for boots not hq though!

I work for boots instore on weekends, I have rung into the store I work in and spoke to a manager who confirmed that it is not on today at all.

Previous to this I had rung two other stores one which was confused as much as us and waiting for a manger to come in and the other which said it was definatly not on.

We honestly are as blind as the general public but we also love a bargain like the general public!

can confirm sale still at 50% off in marple and stockport merseyway and peel centre. marple only has a couple of bits left, stockport merseyway has loads left. was really hoping 75% was on today, was so excited only managed 2 hours of sleep last night!

Well, I've just joined and, for what it's worth, I'm just slacking off for few minutes before I begin my working day! I admit I'm kind of hooked in when it comes to this particular January sale (as I suspect a lot of other people are- hence the new registrations). However, I certainly won't be buying anything I didn't already plan to (at 75% off) as soon as I saw it at its original heftily marked up price.
