I was in the main store in Aberdeen today - all still at 50% but there was absolutely tonnes of stuff, and no customers at all interested in it....so I'm intruiged by the thought of no 75% sale this year - they will be left with a tonne of stuff in that case

Sudden surge of newbies posting, account created Jan2012, posting only in the boots forum.

I am a newbie too but I don't work for Boots either, although am a Boots "saler" and have been for many years. Find this site hilarious with the is it isn't it, when January comes each year. I have been to two Boots branches here in Castlepoint and Winton in Bournemouth, this morning and it looks as if the locusts have been as some of the aisles have been stripped bare!

I also think if Boots HQ are putting posts on this site somebody needs to review their job descriptions!!

Popped into Tamworth town centre, this morning, shelves were cleared of all xmas stuff, only about half an aisle left, went in on saturday and was about 3 aisles full of stuff, think like others have said, maybe shifting to larger stores. mmmkbb - no!:j i have no affliation with Boots and am a genuine shopper. I joined today as I got my deals and wanted to share. I have a reciept to prove it ... Ring Clapham Junction Falcon Road Boots and ask if they have a 75% Sale... just posted in case anyone wishes to visit the store....

I think it is frustrating for some would-be shoppers that so many people have reported seeing 75% sale signs "lying around" in their local stores, and that SAs are also chomping at the bit, which is only natural! I always complete the surveys, and mention the SAs in my local store by name, but, as yet, none of them have received a large bonus!

But it's great to know that there is one store that has the sale on, and I would suspect that there might be a stampede at Waterloo as people rush to get the train to Clapham! Perhaps though, someone from Boots might have pulled the plug now. What goodies did you buy?

(Dreams of the Old Days when they had the £50 white leather P & P vanity cases, reduced to £11.25, after 75% discount and over 60s one!)

Its very bizzare that only one store decided on 75% off. I have been going to this sale for years and never have seen only once branch offereing the reduction. My poor friends up north went on my say and cam back with nothing, so was a suprise for me as well...

I feel sorry for the branch in Clapham as the manager couldnt keep up with the amount of things everyone was picking up..

Picked up the No 7 Vanity case £60 now £15
No7 Nails set 18 now 4.50
Front Cover cosmetics variuos max i paid was£5.00 for the items
Strictly come Dancing sets under £5
FCUK men sets £6.25

The list goes on.. i was shopping for family too... so the manager was not happy with me:cool:

I just called Clapham Junction and they said they think the 75% off sale maybe next week but to keep checking as they dont really know themselves other than the SA's are scanning things each day just in case but told me its definitely not on today and nothing wil scan at 75% off.

Well done on a lucky shop though, at least someone has got some Boots bargains :beer:
