Boots 75% off sale - possible date

I doubt you will find anything worth while in any of the stores in Lanarkshire/Glasgow. I went to Buchanan Galleries and St Enochs on the Wednesday at 12noon. It was manic and I hardly got anything. Went to the EK retail park store on way home from work and again they had very little left at 6pm on Wednesday. By now I think the shelves will be clear.0

My friend went to the one on the retail park early in the morning and there wasnt much there to start with. I went in yesterday and managed to pick up a few bits spoke to the sa who said a woman went in there as soon as the doors opened and took pretty much everything off the shelves. When i went back in yesterday evening they had a load of the ruby and millie eyeshadow sets out that werent in there when i went in at lunchtime! They did say that was the last of the stock though!
the one in the shopping centre still had a few bits in yesterday evening mainly chocs, xmas stuff, subbuteo sets (lots of!), a couple of 3rd and bird flannels, the mood changing colour blocks, religion hair sets, one fearne hat box and not much else!
the small one at the far end of town only had perfume minatures in about 3pm yesterday afternoon and after the one that i bought there were only 3 more left on the shelf.
Not holding out hope for the 90% off sale with whats left now its not gonna be worth it :rotfl:0 -

picked up my order and i am so happy. Great presents for next year. It was worth the effort, got a ted baker eye shadow set, fcuk aftershave set, fcuck shower and wallet set, compact mirror and was very pleased indeed.:jDebt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

I am glad that everyone is receiving their orders. Has anyone's been cancelled?0

I am soo excited that mine are on their way. I have 2 lots of S&G, originally priced at £35 but only £8.75 each. I am giving one as a present for definite but may keep the other for myself. I have never used S&G before only smelt it!!0

Seriously, there must be over 100 there - they are stacked up along an entire section of shelving, then more round on the next section, and a pile stacked up on the floor too! I bet their buyer can currently be recognised by his red face! :rotfl:
Same for anyone needing school teacher / auntie / uncle prezzies in the North East. Metrocentre had freaky amounts of orange and black cylinder box Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden gift sets of full size body wash and lotion. Looks very nice at £2.50 per set instead of £10. Seriously, both sides of a long aisle and cages and cages of it coming out from stockroom. Also quite a lot of the 'green' range of smellies. And enough choc coins to make you a confectionary millionaire! For the men, shelves of Subbuteo mugs with keyrings, 80s rubik cube and pacman novelties, plus selections of Weenicons, lots of it. And MASSES of wrapping Paper, including fab mega long rolls for larger boxed toys for the kids next Christmas.
I must stress that this was what I found at around 5pm yesterday, but would expect not massive numbers of shoppers today. Any early birds planning to be at Metrocentre in the morning should make a beeline for Boots if interested in these bargains. From Money Spending Expert  to Money Saving Expert0
