Does anyone know whereabouts in the exeter high st store the clearance section is? I know it used to be upstairs near the toys but I haven't seen it for a while, I had a quick look but i'm always in a rush.

Firstly thanks so much to all of you who posted the boots sale- because of you I have all my girlie bday and christmas presents for the next year. I live in Cambridge which has three large boots and I have visited all- all three have had different stuff. The reason I have joint is to tell all you savy shppers that I over heard 2 sale assitants today- all boots keep getting deliverys of sale stock as it is easier to sell in the shop floor. So get in there earlier savy shoppers and check it out- you might just get lucky like I did today- over 2 days 100 spend- no presents to buy for an entire yr!! thanks again to all you are amazing xxx

I think it is normally under the escalators, opposite the makeup counters, I've picked up quite a few bargains there! When I was in on Wednesday it wasnt there, they had a toothpaste display, so not sure if they have moved it or they dont have any clearance bits at the mo.

I have heard this too. Infact yesterday when I nipped into my local small Boots that do not sell toys they were putting out some toys that had just been delivered. Picked up three things all for £2.50 each and that's some kids prezzies sorted out. Also they were putting out some of last years stock with prices from 99p to £4.00. This was in Welwyn Garden City.

I managed to get a couple of toys yesterday from my local, they had had a full shelf of toys on clearance but by the time I got there there wasn't much left. They weren't on clearance on the Wednesday, so probably keep adding more stock in. However, the xmas gifts etc. there wasn't much left of that, so I guess it just depends.

Just in case you bought the lovely pink leather gloves in the sale to put away as a pressie.

Can I suggest that you open them up and check them. I bought a pair for myself. £4 for a pair of leather gloves I thought I would treat myself.

Sadly I had two right hands :eek: So back they go for a refund.

And any one in the Bath/Bristol area after the big Gok Wang £45 gold boxes. As of yesterday at 4pm there was 9 in the tiny little Westgate street store in Bath.
