So,my favourites is fully loaded, when do I add them to my basket? such a faff to get everything in favs that i don't want to put in my basket to early and loose the lot if basket gets cleared!

I stupidly stayed up all night last year and literally kept pressing refresh ever few minutes on the Boots site and I think it went live at 5am so by 5.01 I had transfered from my favourites into my basket and completed checkout

No point putting them in your basket till it goes live as if memory serves me correct you loose them from your basket if you put them in before the 75% goes live

Couldn't agree more!:beer: I've got a few toys in my basket for the DGC, who have loads anyway, and if I get them, fine, if I don't, then fine too. Can't cope with the Lakeside scrum any more, and, like you, I found I dithered about whether to give friends something from my stash, or something new that I felt was nicer.

A couple of years ago there were lovely No7 gift sets left in the 75% sale, but nothing like that now. But good luck to all who are going!

Can I just ask a quick question, apologies if it's been asked or I'm being a bit thick..
It's not just online is it? I mean, I'm guessing that people want to try the website at 3am for a better chance of finding things, but it is on in store too?

But not always! That's the "fun" of the Boots sale - you just don't know what will happen this time. You also have to be lucky to get online in the nano-second that a connection is possible. Having done that, loaded your basket - empty, or not - you may then find

1. Everything you wanted is now OOS

2. Everything is in stock, but you get a page saying "Generic error"

3. Everything is in stock, you get to checkout, and then the site crashes.

4. Other people are posting about the fab-u-lous bargains they've got online, or instore and you want to cry

5. Your Mum phones up to say she's bought some new Boots and can't understand why you start screaming :mad: :mad: :mad:

Yes, it will be in store too. if it happens at all!

I have been quite excited about this sale but, to be honest, I am not that interested now after all the will there or won't there be a sale. I agree with other people posting that you just end up buying for the sake of it and not because you want it.

It's supposed to be but, it may not be in every branch. Small ones send their stuff to bigger branches. HTH

Fareham was naff when I was in the other day, but last year they held back and kept putting good stuff out all day ( I should know as I spent ALL day in there lol)

Dont know about pompey though, from what I can peice together a lot of stores are getting stuff sent in

that said I really dont think the quantity or quality of the stock thats left this year is as good as last year
