I never actually buy on the website, i get frustrated with the crashes and items disappearing but i always keep an eye on it so that im sure the 75% has started.

I would be devastated if my order was cancelled. In the past i've found that my local boots has had more in store. Patience is'nt my best virtue, sad as i am i like pressies bought, wrapped, tagged and shelved for next xmas, done!

Don't rely on it being 12 or 2. Think it was just after 3 last year. O set my alarm every hour and be prepared to then be up for 3 hours as the site always crashes! The time changes each year and isn't on the hour.

The boots.com site usually shows a holding page for several hours after midnight while they update the sale and always goes very slow when it eventually goes live, often crashes within minutes leaving everybody unable to find out if orders have actually been placed. Very frustrating but all part of the fun on 75% sale day. Then if you go to stores over more recent years its like a rugby scrum with people clearing whole shelves often in a gang. The joy at looking a the lovely bargains after makes it all worth while the pleasure at giving the gifts makes you forget the effort involved in buying the bargains in the first place. 3 teenage daughters who all have lots of friends with birthdays and mother 2 sisters, sister in law, brother, and friends, am also on 3 school PTAs, boots did give me £15. in advantage card points and i did go to two stores and spent nearlly that there

Thank god for 75% off sales, no wonder we all get stressed.

A new post on HDUK from a Boots Employee, stating "confirmation of 75% Sale starts instore tomorrow" ? Make of that what you will!
I'm hopefull!
