By the way, I spotted a link on another forum which takes you to the PC available seperately at Savastore for £499 or £599 with the 3 year warranty: http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10291125&pid=440 -
What's their fair usage policy? I can't find any actual figures for this?
Incidentally, not only do you get a free PC, you can get a free wireless router, you also get a free upgrade to Microsoft Windows Vista when it becomes available. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I've looked everywhere for any figures concerning their FUP. There are none so far (very very woolly). I've seen other big sites talking about this deal as well, and this is one of the big concerns with this deal (along with the length of the contract, the dubious privacy policy, and Watford Electronics past bad record of customer service).
Concerning the free upgrade to Vista. Most of the big PC suppliers now (Dell, PC World etc) are offering a free upgrade to Vista Basic on new computers bought now until next March. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Just recieved and e-mail from a company called Redten Internet offering 8mb broadband and a free PC (which it claims is worth £500, spec seems reasonable)for £19.99/month. Only catch seems to be signing to a 3 year agreement.
I've never heard of Redten and wondered if they had any history. Always followed the motto "be cautious of offers that seem to good to be true."Keep smiling,

Has anyone got any info on the Redten broadband deal?
You get 8mb Broadband (fair use policy between the hours of 6pm - 11pm) for £19.99 per month
PLUS
You get a PC thrown in (P4, 3Ghz, 160GB HDD, 19" TFT, Keyboard, Mouse, modem etc) £49.95 setup fee required.
Catches include a massive 3 YEAR contract (if you renew, you get an up to date pc system too) and the fact that its backed by Watford Electronics / Savastore, who I always assumed to be a decent company but appear to have a lot of complaints on the web for customer service.
Worth going for?????
