This was taught to me by a guy who used to clean nighclub/bingo hall carpets. He had a homemade machine, like something from chitty chitty bang bang but never used any carpet cleaners.

Thanks so much for this Dusty and Toots it will be the first thing I do tomorrow morning now :) Only had the rug a week!

Yes, I am trying to avoid returning to the bedroom to continue today's flying list, how did you guess??:rotfl:

    Hello

Had my private appointment and saw a very nice Dr (amazing what you get when you pay £195 for it). Yes he agrees my hand is deformed but I should have had an op 10-14 days post injury. I now have to wait for it to heal in it's deformed way whilst gaining flexibility. Then in 8 weeks time I have an operation to put it right. This means I will have a 3 week window of driving / more or less normal use before another 6 weeks of being useless and one handed.

Window cleaner came today so I have lovely shiney windows. DH's family conference at the weekend fell on deaf ears. Nobody has brought dirty clothes down so I've spent the day washing and tumble drying.

Went to a meeting at the primary school about the new ereading scheme "BUG CLUB" I'd appreciate the opinions of any of the teachers on the thread. I can see the advantages and DD2 loved playing the chalenges but you can't cuddle up when you are at the computer. Bedtime will not be the same.

    Yes, did you?

    Yes, did you?

DS1 did it first and showed me how to finish it (not sure if I'd have had the patience on my own). DS2 did it on his own but we had to help DS3 (he is only 8) but he has since done it lots of times on his own.

It started as a joke as DH was flying to Tokyo today and I said if he couldn't do it they wouldn't let him past customs :rotfl:
