    Happy Birthday JoJo
MrsB, I meant to say spare duvets fit nicely between mattress and bed bases.
KazW - glad to hear he is so much better, sounds like you have been very lucky

My car is finally back :j Just have to wait for the invoice to see quite how painful it is.....

Since I got in from work I have cleaned the WM filter, and run it on a cleaning wash as the childrens washing smelt funny this monring. I suspect a small furry had done something rather repulsive in their washing pile

As part of my flying I'm decluttering and have found about 10 part balls of wool - any great ideas what I could do with them or should I just fling? Some of the wool is a bit carp, but some is really quite nice.

Do you crochet? Could you make granny squares for a scarf or cushion cover??

No, I've not learned to crochet but may be something I do in due course.

    Thanks!

Just spent a lovely 30 mins decluttering the area by the desk I use ready to put all my stuff in to sell - I loved doing this and feel a bit more in control now.

Frugalbrunette, sorry to hear you're unwell - hope you recover soon ((((hugs)))).

Thanks Toots :) when you say white toilet soap, do you mean soap that you would put on the basin to wash your hands? I feel really ridiculous asking, but it has crossed my mind that you might be talking about some other kind of toilet soap :o:o:o

    Use hot water.
Wet the stain with a cloth.
Rub the bar of soap over the stain.
Rub the soap into the stain with your fingers.
Rinse with a cloth with the hot water
    Allow to dry
    Hoover
    Repeat if necessary.

This was taught to me by a guy who used to clean nighclub/bingo hall carpets. He had a homemade machine, like something from chitty chitty bang bang but never used any carpet cleaners.

    I've been Money Tipped!
OMG. not much master room done today ...but I did get a first coat on my kitchen cupboards. Taking better care of them has made me rlaise how much the darkness was getting me down. I felt really glum today and so slipped out bought some paint and ...ta da.....on my way to a lighter, brighter kitchen that I want to spend time in.

The kithen is destined to be moved in fact, but when those cabinets aren't in the kithen I'm hoping they can be used in my utility room. :)
